REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION LEVEL:

Bachelors degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

Evidence of successful work history and/or experience working with youth

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires hearing, hand-eye coordination, mind-eye coordination, keyboarding and telephoning. Frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands, fingers. Frequent physical management of students.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Regular, reliable attendance. Experience with behavior management. Ability to use a computer for word processing and data entry. Ability to maintain confidential information. Regular contact with students with emotional, cognitive and/or conduct-related disorders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

  1. Serves as a contact and liaison between students, teachers, and parents for student homework completion.
  2. Communicates with counselors and administrators about academic concerns for individual students.
  3. Corresponds with students, teachers, and parents about uncompleted school work and provides early intervention communication between all three shareholders.
  4. Maintain the confidentiality of students and their families.
  5. Will provide academic supports to students who are missing work, or students who need intervention on certain standards throughout the day.
  6. Will work with teachers and counselors to determine which students need intervention and when that intervention should occur.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.

This is an hourly employment contract role, following the student calendar.

PAY INFORMATION

$23.75 per hour

Pay Day: Last working day of each month, based on the payroll cutoff schedule.

Monday through Friday; 7:45 am - 4:15 pm

1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, 9 months
