REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION LEVEL:
Bachelors degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
Evidence of successful work history and/or experience working with youth
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires hearing, hand-eye coordination, mind-eye coordination, keyboarding and telephoning. Frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands, fingers. Frequent physical management of students.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Regular, reliable attendance. Experience with behavior management. Ability to use a computer for word processing and data entry. Ability to maintain confidential information. Regular contact with students with emotional, cognitive and/or conduct-related disorders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
- Serves as a contact and liaison between students, teachers, and parents for student homework completion.
- Communicates with counselors and administrators about academic concerns for individual students.
- Corresponds with students, teachers, and parents about uncompleted school work and provides early intervention communication between all three shareholders.
- Maintain the confidentiality of students and their families.
- Will provide academic supports to students who are missing work, or students who need intervention on certain standards throughout the day.
- Will work with teachers and counselors to determine which students need intervention and when that intervention should occur.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
This is an hourly employment contract role, following the student calendar.
PAY INFORMATION
$23.75 per hour
Pay Day: Last working day of each month, based on the payroll cutoff schedule.

Monday through Friday; 7:45 am - 4:15 pm
1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, 9 months
